Microstructures with fluid phases
In this research area the focus of interest lies on making the classical FE² method also applicable for multi-phase materials. This means that we have to examine multicomponent materials in different flow conditions and their interactions between the phases on the micro- and on the macro level. Within the research focus of the graduate school the microstructure shall be discretely dissolved by appropriate approaches with special regard to the interaction between the phases.
